The Logitech G7 is a bi-directional wireless gaming mouse that comes with dpi control, spare battery and several other features. One of the unmistakable features of the G7 is the standard Logitech design and shape. The overall looks are not inspiring but bear uncanny resemblance to the Logitech MX518 wired gaming mouse and the sides of the mouse have a sandpaper texture.

Moving on to its salient features, the Logitech G7 allows the user to change dpi settings on-the-fly using a button placed right below the scroll button. The G7 mouse offers 3 different dpi settings and using the CD-ROM software it can be increased to 5 settings. The G7 mouse has Teflon feet at the bottom, which allows smooth movement. On the underside of the mouse is the on/off button for switching it off when not in use. The package comes with a software CD-ROM for installing drivers and users can even change mouse settings and assign different tasks to different buttons.

One of the best features the G7 offers is the option for in-game sensitivity switching. Using this option, gamers can jump from pixel-precise targeting to a lightning fast maneuvers without the need to pause the game. The three basic sensitivity levels available include 400, 800, and 2000 dpi. A 6.4 megapixels/second image processor in the Logitech G7 offers lightning speed for first person shooter games.

One of the major highlights of the Logitech G7 is the back-up battery for interrupted gaming. The mouse pack comes with an extra battery and charger.

The Logitech G7 comes with a backup battery, adjustable dpi settings, and is a high precision gaming mouse but what it really misses is a forward button.
