Logitech mice have been in the market for a long time but are they good enough for gaming? One of the latest PC Gaming mouse created by Logitech is the G9x, which is packed with programmable features, extra buttons for utility, high precision and several customization features.
The eye opener here is the fact that the Logitech G9x supports up to 5 different dpi setting from a minimum of 200 dpi to a maximum of 5700 dpi. The dpi settings can be changed using the buttons present on the underside of the mouse or just under the left mouse button. The G9x enables the user to tweak the sensitivity as well as speed of the mouse depending on the requirement. Basically this means that a user can change the overall acceleration speed as well as the polling rate of the mouse.
Another interesting functionality is that users can change the scroll wheel behavior from a click-by-click setting for gaming to fast-scrolling for general web browsing. Basically, the G9x is not just a gaming mouse but can be used for standard functions or computer use as well. Some of the other salient features of the Logitech G9x include maximum acceleration of 30G, maximum speed of Up to 150 inches/second or 3.81 m/s, onboard memory to enable programming of 5 ready to play profiles, and Polytetrafluoroethylene feet.
