Razer is not just synonymous with stylish wired and wireless mouse with a whole lot of features – their mice have great names too – names with a lot of attitude! One of the poisonous snakes in the world, the DeathAdder is the name of the latest wired gaming mouse by Razer. In fact, it has the distinction of being the first third generation (3G) infrared sensor gaming mouse in the world. The built-in 3G infrared sensor enables the mouse to move at almost 2.5 times the speed of 800 dpi standard optical sensor mouse.
The Razer DeathAdder comes with an ergonomic design and sleek body to enable high levels of comfort for long hours of gameplay. One of the factors controlling the performance of the mouse is the response time of 1ms vis-à-vis the response time of 8ms in conventional mouse. Some of the bonus features of the Razer DeathAdder includes 5 independently programmable hyper-response buttons, Ultra-large non-slip buttons, On-The-Fly Sensitivity™ adjustment,16-bit ultra-wide data path, 6400 frames per second (5.8 megapixels per second), 60-120 inches per second, and 15g of acceleration.
The Razer DeathAdder measures 128mm (length) x 70mm (width) x 42.5mm (height) and comes with a seven-foot, lightweight and non-tangle cord and a gold plated USB connector. It is compatible with Windows Vista / XP / X64 / MCE 2005 and is available with a drivers CD-ROM although the CD doesn’t have a Vista driver. Simply means that you will have to download a Vista driver.
