The Razer Lachesis has been created to redefine gaming and is a recipient of the PC Gamers editor’s choice award and the GameStar editor’s choice award. What makes this high precision 3G laser gaming mouse different is its 5,600 dpi Razer Precision 3G laser sensor. The 3G laser sensor helps in providing a high degree of performance by enabling 5 times the movement speed as compared to the 800dpi optical sensor mouse.
One of the salient aspects of the Razer Lachesis is the 32KB Razer Synapse onboard memory, which will help in storing as many as 5 unique gaming profiles. Apart from that, the 9 independently programmable HyperesponseTM buttons are an add-on especially the Hyperesponse technology, which is slated to reduce latency to enable optimum game-play.
The ambidextrous design of the Razer Lachesis ensures that both left handed and right handed gamers can use it with ease. The Lachesis is available in black color with blue and green backlight light for the scroll wheel. The Razer Lachesis measures 129mm (length) x 71mm (width) x 40mm (height) and is compatible with Windows® 2000 / XP / X64 / MCE 2005 / Vista / Vista64.
Our Take:
The look and feel of the Razer Lachesis is quite comfortable and the higher dpi gives faster speed for gaming. Overall performance is good though there is a little problem with some of its drivers. An updated ‘fix’ would take care of that!Razer Lachesis prices:
