Razer Naga Review

- 5,600 dpi (adjustable, on-the-fly switching)
- 17(!) programmable buttons
- Optimized for MMO gamers
- Optional software addons for a variety of MMOs
- Unlimited profiles
At first look, the Razer Naga is a real crusher but the question is: does the Naga work as well as it looks? The Razer Naga is a MMO (massively multiplayer online) gaming mouse that comes with as many as 17 different optimized buttons within a 12 button thumb grid. If you want to use a particular button, use your thumb to click it. These buttons are illuminated by Razer’s unmistakable blue glow light and the good thing is that these buttons can be programmed to fit in thousands of in-game commands. Another important feature of the Razer Naga is that it comes with a customizable interface and hence can be used for bringing in certain keyboard commands right into the mouse.
The add-on software packed along with the Naga will enable gamers to save unlimited profiles and this feature intends to cut down on the hassle of remapping over and over again. The overall performance of the Razer Naga is guided by the 5,000dpi Razer Precision 3.5G laser sensor, which makes tracking possible up to 200 inches per second. One of the salient features is the zero acoustic Ultraslick Teflon feet that make the Naga faster than most conventional gaming mice.
